9 Months Old!!!!

Bigger & Bigger...Stronger & Stronger...Smarter & Smarter!!!  One more month has flown by! Incredible!  Adrian has mastered crawling now, and is able to walk around the house by pushing his toys around...soon enough I know he'll be on the go, running around the house!  He is also eating more table food, and can even grab food with his fingers & put it in his mouth :)  He is unfortunately STILL not sleeping through the night, but I am reading a book that will hopefully shed some insight on how to successfully keep him in his own bed and sleeping through the night!  I did my first "nap log" and "night waking log" yesterday and last night (This is before setting a plan in place, so what I've been dealing with to date)...Results:

Average 9 mo old Nap Totals: 2.5-4 hrs (2 different naps)
Adrian's Nap totals: 3hrs 6 mins (4 different naps)

Average hours a 9 mo should be sleeping at night: 11-12 hours
Adrian's # of awakenings at night: 6
Adrian's total hours of nighttime sleep: 7hrs 46 mins

Total of Average naptime & nighttime sleep: 14 hours
Adrian's Total of naptime & nighttime sleep: 10 hrs 52 mins

It's a slower process, but I'll take anything at this point!  I'm exhausted!

On the UP side, here are some pictures :D

Father's day 2011

Alright, alright, last post for the day...Here are some great pictures from Father's day...We went over to la casa de los Abuelos de Adrian (Adrian's grandparents house) for a BBQ, and Adrian got to go in the pool for the first time...he thought it was fun and liked splashing his hand in the water!  Adrian's gift to his daddy was a tie shirt I handmade, and Adrian had a matching one I made as well...funny thing was, Manny's dad wore the same colored shirt and shorts as them, so they all kinda matched :)

Everyday life with a boy named Adrian...

More pictures...

Adrian loved Jeffery's alphabet train so much, I decided to get him one of his own when we got home...it's a great toy with lost of features and encourages him to walk around the house using his own strength and learn balance...and once he masters that, he can sit and ride around on it!

**WARNING...if you want to keep the idea in your head that this little boy is always sweet, and never sour, don't watch after 1:00...I tired helping him over the hump, but he didn't like that too much** LOL

What a happy baby we have!!!

Oregon Trip

I thought I'd share some pictures today...Oregon was so much fun, and I'm so glad Adrian and I were able to spend a whole week there!!  It was great seeing family, I kinda wish that I could have been able to spend more time with my cousins, but what I did get to see of them was great anyway.  I SO wish for Adrian's sake that he lived closer to his cousin Jeffery!!  They had so much fun together (he slept really good those nights!!) It's tough being farther away from family, but it makes the time we do get to spend together much more special...I know I already posted these pictures on facebook, but for your sake Grandma, I will post some here too :)

**Remember, if you click on the picture, it'll bring it up bigger**
